Scott Petersen
Scott had the pleasure of working on a wide variety of real estate transactions: large office leases, small office leases, temporary catastrophe leases, sale and leaseback of large offices, sales of both land and buildings and development of office, historic and mixed-use projects. He was able to have a significant effect on a Fortune 50 corporation by helping State Farm develop their commercial real estate strategy, implementing that strategy and then negotiating large transactions to successfully accomplish their goals.
Outside of State Farm, Scott has developed more than 120,000 square feet of build-to-suit office buildings, helped lead a team on a public/private mixed-use redevelopment of an iconic urban Kansas City property. Most recently represented a Veterans United, a large privately held mortgage lender, in a long-term sublease for over 300,000 square feet of office space.
Scott currently serves on the boards of Parkville Women’s Clinic and Molior Foundation to support missionary work in the Dominican Republic. He also served as a mentor for Christian Life Center at the City Union Mission in Kansas City.
